Artist Statement:

I am passionate about painting and drawing; anything art related. My creations come deep from within. I sit down to sketch an idea and my hands take over, it’s almost intuitive. I look at an everyday object and it transforms into colors, shapes, lines communicating into beautiful art.

I put the brush to canvas and the design seems to take on a life of it’s own. When I’m painting, it’s as if I am so entranced, I’m unaware of my surroundings. I become the painting. Every line, every brushstroke, is a part of me.

My hope is that my art captures the eye and evokes an emotion that touches the individual who views it.
